Frequently Asked Questions
01. What is the difference between job and industry-specific language training?
Industry-specific training covers the language of a sector — healthcare, finance, engineering. Job-specific training goes deeper, targeting the exact vocabulary and skills a person needs for their individual role. At ELAM, we often combine both for maximum relevance.
02. Which ELAM program offers this specific-purpose content?
All ELAM programs — including LAD, LAD Intense, LAD Express, Lingua30, French Connections and the Executive Language Mastery program — can be tailored with job-specific and industry-specific content. The only exception is Blended-Lingua, which follows a structured self-paced format. Whatever program fits your learners' schedule and goals, relevant professional content can be built right in.
03. Is it offered in a private or group format
We can offer it in both formats, provided the entire group has the same objectives.
04. Can I bring authentic material to class?
Yes, we strongly encourage language learners to bring real cases, emails, documents, etc. to class.
05. How can I reinforce what I learn in class?
Learning doesn't stop between sessions. Your trainer can assign targeted exercises and resources between sessions to keep your progress moving forward.
