The Client
LOVO, known until 2026 as Groupe Nutri, is a Canadian egg company owned by farming families since 1987. It is the only Canadian company owned by local farmers and one of the country’s largest egg graders, processors and distributors. With six facilities from coast to coast, LOVO produces, grades, processes and markets more than 2.4 billion eggs each year, from fresh shell eggs to ready-to-eat products for retail, industrial and foodservice markets
The Challenge
LOVO’s teams work across provinces, from administrative offices to grading and processing plants, and communicate daily with colleagues, farmers, suppliers and clients in both French and English. The company needed training that could serve employees in very different roles, with varied language levels, shift schedules, and learning needs.
The ELAM Solution
Since 2022, ELAM has delivered French and English training to LOVO employees through a flexible mix of formats:
- Private, semi-private and group classes
- Live instructor-led and blended programs
Instead of a one-size-fits-all course, every program aims to answer one question: Can our employees communicate in their second language at the level their work requires?
The Results
Around 50 LOVO employees have trained with ELAM since 2022, building the confidence to work across French- and English-speaking teams.
Training Designed for the Job
In the food industry, employees coordinate production, uphold strict quality and food safety standards, and work with partners across the supply chain. ELAM builds training around industry terminology, role-specific communication needs and clear proficiency goals, so employees learn the language they actually use at work.
