Over the past four years, ELAM has embraced a heartwarming tradition: “12 Days of Giving.” Launched this year on Giving Tuesday and running until December 14, our team and clients embark on a journey of generosity, dedicating our efforts to support various charitable causes. It’s a time-honoured tradition where our employees, teachers, and clients come together to nominate and choose charitable organizations. This year, as in the past, we have continued this tradition, promoting joy and making a positive impact on the world. Join us on this donating journey as we unveil the recipients of our giving this year, showcasing the remarkable organizations we’ve had the privilege to support.<\/p>

\"\"Day 1:<\/strong> With more than 70 years of experience and expertise, World Vision<\/a><\/strong><\/span> works alongside communities, supporters, partners, and governments to change the way the world works for children, focusing on three specific areas: emergency relief, transformational development, and promotion of justice.<\/p>

\"\"Day 2: Plastic Oceans International<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong> is a US-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose goal is to end plastic pollution and foster sustainable communities worldwide. They operate with the belief that we can and must act locally to create change globally, focusing on Education, Activism, Advocacy, and Science.<\/p>

\"\"Day 3<\/strong>: Refuge RR<\/a> <\/span><\/span><\/strong>aims to help the most abused in our society. They rescue animals in need from various sectors of animal industries and provide rehabilitation and veterinary care to cases of severe physical abuse and mental trauma. For those not adoptable, they offer lifelong refuge.<\/p>

\"\"Day 4: Chez Doris<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong>, founded in 1977 as a day shelter for women in difficulty, this organization now serves annually more than 1,500 vulnerable women, providing inclusive services like clothing, financial management support, medical services, and housing solutions.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a>Day 5: United Way Canada<\/span><\/strong> is improving lives locally by moving people from poverty to possibility, helping kids reach their full potential, and building strong and healthy communities.<\/p>

\"\"Day 6: Rescue Dogs Lebanon-CANADA<\/a><\/span><\/strong> matches abandoned dogs and cats from Lebanon with Canadian families, working tirelessly to rescue and rehome these animals.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a>Day 7: Auberge Transition<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong> offers shelter, information, counselling, and follow-up services to women experiencing or who have experienced any form of spousal abuse, aiming to break isolation and inform the community about available help.<\/p>

\"\"Day 8:<\/strong> Since 1964, the Charles-LeMoyne Hospital Foundation<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong> has accelerated the development of the hospital, offering patients and families access to top-notch healthcare.<\/p>

\"\"Day 9: Food Banks of Quebec<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong> plays a pivotal role in feeding over 870,000 people monthly through its extensive provincial network and regional members serving local communities.<\/p>

\"\"Day 10: Dans la rue<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong> helps homeless and at-risk youth acquire skills and resources for more autonomous lives, supported by dedication, empathy, and community involvement.<\/p>

\"\"Day 11: The Montreal SPCA<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong>, established in 1869, is the largest animal-protection organization in Quebec, advocating for animal welfare and speaking against cruelty, neglect, and exploitation.<\/p>

\"\"Day 12:<\/strong> For over 20 years, the Sablon Foundation<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong> has empowered children from underprivileged backgrounds through sports and outdoor activities to help them blossom and realize their potential.<\/p>
